Volunteer with us

Truism, a dynamic smallholder  farmers' organization, is actively seeking skilled volunteers who are passionate about sustainable agriculture and rural community development. Volunteers will have the opportunity to use their expertise in agroecology, climate-smart training, and field farmer school formation. Truism aims to empower smallholder farmers and promote environmentally friendly farming practices.

Volunteers with expertise in agroecology will play a crucial role in assisting farmers to adopt sustainable methods that maximize productivity while minimizing negative environmental impacts. They will contribute to building resilient farming systems that can adapt to climate change challenges by providing tailored workshops and practical guidance to help these smallholder farmers develop sustainable practices that conserve water, improve soil health, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

This contribution will directly lead to increased food security, improved livelihoods, and the long-term sustainability of rural communities. By volunteering with Truism, individuals can be part of a team dedicated to creating a positive change in the lives of smallholder farmers, contributing to sustainable agriculture, community development, and environmental preservation.
Interested individuals should email jimmy@truismhl.com to get started.
